SANITARY SEWER

(a) City's portion of capital cost.to install one sanitary sewer
pump station at 2594 Pitt River Road, 400 m of 150 mm 9 forcemain
on Pitt River Road from P/S to Reeve Street and 480 m of 250 mm @
gravity main on Reeve Street from Pitt River Road to Kelly.
(Cost: $100,000).

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

We have applied to the Minister of Municipal Affairs for 252
cost sharing on these projects and our request will not be processed until
the works are approved by a resolution of Council.

Water projects (a) through (e) are carry-over jobs from 1983 and
are currently in progress. The remainder of the water jobs are required to
service. the back of Mary Hill and will be paid from development cost charge
reserves as development proceeds. ; '

The proposed sewer project is in our 1984 budget and will proceed
if the Indian Reserve development takes place.
