Total Damages ~ $15,750 $15,000 damage to home which was vandalized while owners were out and eight different fires set throughout the home. $600 in kitchen fire caused when owner, while frying with oil, had the frying pan light on fire. $100 damage to a bed caused by children playing with matches. $50 damage to home possibly caused by a soldering torch. No damage to three homes with electrical fires. . Eight alarms ringing, three to industrial building caused by fluctuating water pressures. The other five to schools with four turned on by persons unknown and one by a short circuit. One commercial was to a chair set on fire by persons unknown in a drive-in. 53 inhalator calls. 28 home emergencies consisting of strokes, heart attacks, epileptic seizures, child in convulsions, haemorrhaging due to recent operation, over indulgence in alcohol, falls causing cuts and fractures and four overdoses. Attended ten motor vehicle accidents, two people hit by a vehicle, four sport accidents and transported a man with a broken leg caused when his leg got caught in a boat drive shaft.
