May 3rd, 1976

A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hail, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on May 3rd,

1976, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking,

E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock,
City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., City Planning
Officer Lanson Lee, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs.
B.M. Aalten.

That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on
April 26th, 1976, be taken as read and adopted. Carvied.

CORRESPONDENCE & PETITIONS:

From the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Coquitlam Branch 133, April
20th, 1976, advising of its application to the Liquor Administration
Board for a General Licence to cover functions in the unstairs auditorium
and to sell beer by the case for off the premises consumption, and
Stating there would be no other changes insofar as hours of operation or
seating capacity is concerned.

That as requested in a letter from the Royal Canadian Legion, Port
Coquitlam Branch 133, April 20th, 1976, approval in principle be given
to the Legion's application to the Liquor Administration Board for a
General Licence to cover functions in the upstairs auditorium and to
sell beer by the case for off the premises consumption. Carried.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Ranger drew
attention to the shoulder of the road at the accessway to the Legion's
parking lot which appears to require frequent maintenance by the City,
and Alderman Thompson stated he would obtain a report thereon from the
City Engineer.

From the Coquitlam and District Hospital, April 13th, 1976, submitting
copies of letters sent to the Greater Vancouver Regional Hospital District

and the Minister of Health under date of April 12th, 1976, concerning
