Mr. Sutter referted to ‘the Industrial Brochure on the area in question

recently issued by the city and stated his opinion that the “situation would
get much worse when Langan Avenue is extended through to “ingeway from Broadway
and he advised that in traffic counts taken from 10: 00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. today
by residents of _the area, twelve heavy vehicles, eight smal] 11 connereial veh-
icles, 101 L through cars, 16 local cars, and four local delivery vehicles were
observed 1 to use Langan Avenue. Mr. Sutter suggested that rather than closing
Langan Avenue at Broadway as had been originally Suggested, a closure in the
middle of the 1700 block Langan may help to reduce the length of the cul-de-
sac Spoken of by the > City Engineer. Alderman Meyer Stated his opposition to

boundary between the residential and industrial area as shown in the City's
