City Engineer SUBJECT: Tecry Fox High School (Public Works/Traffic Committee Meeting of J anuary 21, 1992) That Council approve the installation of a pedestrian crosswalk across Wellington Street at the south side of Patricia Avenue adjacent to Terry Fox High School at an estimated cost of $1,060. That $1,060 be allocated from the Public Works Special Reserve Fund for this purpose. The Public Works/Traffic Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project/T'caffic Technician dated January 6, 1992 regarding a letcer from the Principal of Terry Fox High School dated December 17, 1991 requesting a pedestrian crosswalk at Wellington and Patricia. It is noted that there is a bus stop on the westside of Wellington near Patricia, and that Patricia Avenue is a major route for students at Terry Fox High School. The cost for painting the crosswalk, installing the signs, and constructing a short section of sidewalk complete with let down curb at the southeast comer of Wellington and Patricia is estimated to be $1,060.
