Brown Director of Planning 1279, 83, and 87 Dewar Way in Westview Subdivision Development Variance Permit File No. 38/89 THAT City Council direct the Clerk's Office to inform surrounding property owners of this application and to place a resolution on a subsequent agenda of Council to approve relaxation of Zoning Bylaw No. 2240, Section 802 RS—2 Small Lot Residential, Subsection (4) Front Yard Setback. This application ig to reduce the front yard setback of these three lots from 7.5 meters to 6 meters. The basis of this request is that the lots are on the inside of a curve, making their rear yards narrow. The designer hag asked for the opportunity to experiment with a reduced front yard setback for the lower floor. The second floor of the houses designed for these lots would be set back from the lower floor so there would not be too heavy a massing in the front 6 meters. This relaxation of the front yard setback does permit a good architectural design for these lots. Director of Planning DV/kin ID222FILEQ04~21
