Alderman Kerylux referred to the land clearning burming presently being
carried out north of the Lougheed Highway and east cf Coast Meridian Road in
the City.

That the G.V.R.D. Pollution Control Committee be invited to come into
Port Coquitlam and immediately investigate and measure the degree of polution
and if necessary during the interval of this current inversion stop all
burning until the weather conditions are more appropriate.

Mayor Traboulay referred to Policing in the area during the summer months
when members of the Port Coquitlan/Coquitlam 2.C.H.P. Detachment were used to

police the Sasamat Lake Regional Park in unorganized territory.

That Solicitor General Angus Ree of the Province of British Columbia be
advised of the Council's concern regarding the use of Port Coquitlam/Coquitiam
R.C.M.P. officer's to police Sasamat Regional Park in the unorganized
territory.
