Re: Sale of Road Allowance, Marshall Ave.

The owner-of land at McLean and Taylor has applied to purchase a
small strip of the Marshall Ave. road allowance adjacent to his property.
You will note on the attached plan that the closure of this small strip
is desireable in order to make Marshall a consistent width and match
up with the width of Marshall to the west of the lane.

The land sales committee recommends that this portion of road be closed
and sold to the owner of lot "A" at a rate of $ 3.00 per square foot. The
area of land involved is about 1959 square feet for a_ sale price of
$ 5877.00. .
