Re: Remuneration of Election Personnel

With Polling Day coming up on November 20th, 1976, we have reviewed the
amounts paid in past years for election personnel and the same is set forth
in tabular form hereunder along with our suggestion for the 1976 rate.

The rates suggested for 1976 have been discussed with Mr. Pollock and he agrees
that they appear to be reasonable. The key to setting these rates is, we feel,
the Poll Clerk position and we have set this fee on the basis of a fourteen hour
day at the minimum wage of $3.00 per hour and using this as a guide post, the
other rates fall quickly into place.

We would recommend that a resolution be passed approving our suggested rates
for payment in 1976.
