The performance of the animal. control facility in Port Coquitlam during the
month of October was satisfactory.

The results for the month of October 1976 are in line with those for 1975 and
So are the results for the year to date.

The evidence in respect to the calf which was starved to death is being
reviewed by the legal advisors of the Society.

indications are that action will not be able to be taken under the Criminal
Code in this particular incidence because of the difficulty in proving
that the owners of the the calf "willfully" did commit the offance. The
final decision on action in this case will be forwarded to the Municipality.

Applications for permits have been now completed in respect to the installation
of the pathological incinerator which will be completed in the next few weeks,

Revised budgets for 1977 have been submitted for approval.
