From the Public Works Committee, February Sth, 1973, advising that the R.C.M.P.-re lights |

on bicycles
have reported as follows with respect to lights on bicycles:
The Vancouver Sun and Vancouver Province make bicycle Lights available at min-
imum cost to their paperboys.
2. Information relating to charges in Juvenile Court for bicycle Light offenders
is contained in the R. cM. P. Report to counett.
Alderman Ranger stated he would Lik ke to see the Committee pursue this matter

and have a By-law drawn up making: it illegal to ride bicycles w without a , Light.

That the Traffic Committee, at its next meeting, broach the subject of a By-
law covering lights on bicycles similar to that presently in force in the District

ector M. Young of the Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam R.C.M.P. Detachment.
