The project has taken two years of building and preparation waiting for this one day, ..On the Friday about 20 dancers will start the festivities off with some traditional Indian dancing at 1:30. The two totem poles, both carved by Robbie Stewart of the Village, | will be dedicated, and a plaque from contractor to the project Seaward Construction will be unveiled. , Offical ribbon cutting ceremonies, hopefully including MP [ona Campagnolo, will take place at 3 p.m. . An arts dnd crafts display starts at 4 p.m. and runs to 5:0 when the cocktail hour and banquet hegin. These two events, banquet and cocktails, are by invitation only. . After the recluse is over at 3:30 p.m, the dancers conie out agaln to display thelr talents and ritual movements, Friday night the centre will rock to “Let's Boogie” from New Ailyansh. ..The Pancake breakfast Included = in ‘municipal celebrations willbeheld at the new centre at7 a.m, Canoe races atart at 8 a.m., not 9 as previously Planned, and ran a two mile course. .
