City Engineer That Council approve an expenditure of $22,788 for the Consulting Engineering Services for the design and construction of the Wilson/Shaughnessy intersection. That Delcan Engineers and Planners be appointed as Consulting Engineers for the design and construction of the Wilson/Shaughnessy at the tendered price of $19,816 (including GST). That $22,788 be allocated from the Road DCC Fund for this purpose. It is proposed to design and construct the Wilson/Shaughnessy intersection complete with traffic lights in 1992 in conjunction with construction of the Chevron Gas Station at the northwest comer of Wilson and Shaughnessy. Total intersection project cost is estimated to be $150,000. ‘As shown on the attached memorandum from the Deputy City Engineer dated March 3, 1992, the City received three bids for engineering services for the design and construction of the Wilson/Shaughnessy intersection. Delcan Planners and Engineers had the lowest qualified bid at a tendered cost of $19,816 with 15% contingencies, the consulting fees would be $22,788.
