Photocopiers,

RECOMMENDATION:

That we proceed with the purchase of two new photocopiers
from Xerox of Canada at a price of $8,681.40 with the funds to come from
our future capital reserve.

BACKGROUND :

These are replacement machines for the photocopiers in the
Administration and Recreation offices which are no longer performing up
to standard.

COMMENT ;
I am recommending Xerox machines which were the second
lowest quote received, however, the quality of service and reproduction
quality that we have come to expect from Xerox justifies the additional
cost. Xerox is also agreeable to install the machines on a ‘two week free
trial basis. Low bidder was Canon at $8,162.00.
