N JUN 2 3 G75, The Mayor and Council City of Port Coquitlam 2272 - McAllister Street Port Coquitlam, B,C. Attn: Mr. R.A. Freeman, City Clerk Dear Sirs: Re: Golden Ears Hotel ~- Canopies As you are, no doubt, aware a considerable amount of renovation is being done to the front of the Golden Ears Hotel. ‘The plan calis for the moving of a small canopy now over the old entrance to the Licensed Lounge, to the new entrance on the left side of the frontage. It also requires that the large canopy, now over the Lobby entrance, be moved approximately six (6) feet to the right of its existing position. (See photos herewith.) It is understood that both these canopies are non-conforming to present by-laws, but it must be conceded that some protection is required over these entrances and since the front of the Hotel is right on the front property line, any canopy attached thereto must project over public property. Since the canopies are existing and a move only is required, it is respectfully requested that your approval be given to this project. The canopies are owned by Neon Products Ltd. and are on contract to the Hotel. Because of this, we would ask that a delegation of two xepresentatives from this company be allowed to address Council snould discussion on this matter be required. These representatives will be Mr. Al Drappier and Mr. Herb Beattie. ; You Noté: See pholos on G. Hartree . , Manager - Properties & Permits reverse side | . City Ceri Encl. ITN OE ERI /m
