My third concern relates to the dirt bike riders in the old gravel pit off the Mary Hill Bypass. I note that the various "No Pa.king" signs in the area are routinely vandalized and removed. While the activity there has subsided slightly recently, there are still large numbers of people congregating there, particularly on weekends. The noise from these bikes is often disturbing. I understand that there is a noise bylaw in this municipality. The no parking zone is obviously not enforced. I assume the same applies to the noise bylaw. What is City Hall able to do about this concern? A fourth concern has been on my mind for several years. It pertains to the intersection of Kingsway and Mary Hill Roads (near PoCo Building Supply and the CP tracks), This area has become a favourite night and weekend repository for large trucks (gravel trucks, semi-trailers and the likey. Obviously the owners/operators of these vehicles need a parking place, and this is certainly not a residential area. But, it is a major intersection, and increasingly these trucks are parking right up to the intersection, The obvious consequence is reduced visibility for drivers making a turn onto Kingsway from Mary Hill Road. It’: s become a dicey proposition to make a safe turn here. | feel that there should be nu parking designation for a distance of 50 m either side of the intersection, along the southern side of Kingsway, My last concern applies to the land at the corner of Citadel Drive and Confederation (in Citadel Heights) that is zoned for commercial purposes. I understand the intended purpose of that land is for something along the lines of a corner store, but will the city be sharing the proposals for that site with the neighbouring residents? In other words is there likely to be any public hearing when development proposals are presented? Thank vou for your attention to these concerns. If you wish any clarification of the above, please do not hesitate to call. | Yours truly, P log A on Peter CT Vogt
