That the recommendations made by the Environmental Protection
Committee, in their report under date of April 6th, 1979 regarding the
City's policy on the granting of Community Care Facility licenses be

adopted as presented.

Carried.
Discussion then ensued regarding the area to be canvassed as mentioned
in the above noted report and Alderman Laking stated in his opinion the
area to be canvassed should be within a radius of 200 feet from the
residence for a Day Care Use and within a radius of 400 feet for a
Personal Care Home Use.

That the report regarding the City's policy on the granting of
Community Care Facility licenses be amended to read: Canvassing to be
carried out within a radius of 200 feet from the residence for a Day
Care Use, and within a radius of 400 feet from the residence for a
Personal Care Home Use.

drainage ditch on the property is no longer required that it be filled

in and the lot offered for sale, or alternatively, if there is a need to
retain a strip of property for the ditch that the remaining land be

offered for sale, subject to it being consolidated with the adjacent
