“City of Port Coquitlam Civiz Defence By-law

The Munteipal Counetl of the Corporation of the City of Pore Coquitlam,
in open meeting assenbted, enacte as follows:

1. Section 3. of the "City of Port Coquitlam Civil Defence Sy-lav,

827, 1966" ts amended by striking out the words "che City Clerk-

Administrator and the Superintendent of Operations" where they appear rhereta

and substituting therefor the words "tha Cicy Admintstrator and the City

Engineer”
2. Section 5. ts amended by striking out the words “City Slerk-

Adainistrator” vhere they 2ppear therein and acbat. stuting therefor the vords

“City Aduinistrator".

3. Section 11.

(a), (bd, (c), (2), where they appear therein end substituting therefor the
following:

fe amended by otriking out the four lettered paragraphs

“(a) Chairman of the Building and Protection Comittee
(>) Chairman of the Pubiic Works Cosatittee

{c)  Chatraan of the Health and Welfare Committee

(4) Chairman of the Industrial and Community Development Committee

(e) Chafraan of the Planning and Zoning Cormittes

(£) Chairaan cf the Parks and Recreation Commitee"

4. Sections 12, and 13. of the By-iav are vepealed and she folloving

substituted therefor:

"12. That in the event of the office of the City Administrator becozing

vacant, the folloving shall be the line of succession for the City
Administrator's position and in accordance vith Section 5 of thin
By-law shell becose the Secretary to the Conero} Committee:
(a) City Clerk ;

(®) City Treasurer

(c) Others 2s appotnted by the Control Comnitce.
