Well, something is be- ing done about it, said local resident Gary Quadros. New litter baskets have gone up in Terrace and people are being asked to pitch-in. A clean city is impor- tant to those of us who live here and the thousands of visitors we host each year, Quadros noted. We can all do our part and pitch-in. Do. your part to keep the community clean. Curling to begin Youth curling at the Terrace Curling Rink will be getting underway Oct. 20, but organizers are taking registrations now, The fees this year are $5 for those in. the aged 10 to 14 group, and $20 for those aged 15 and up. Participants can sign up at the rink during the or by phoning 635-5583. Brooms and sliders will be provided for each curler, and newcomers are especially welcome. Plans call for one practice workout and one games session every week after school. Days will be determined when play starts on Oct. 20.
