To spend $7,500.00 on upgrading Skyline Park 2. That the money be taken from park DCC interest fund. BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: Skyline Park was intended to be a greenbelt area that could be used for residents to walk through or sit on benches and enjoy the view. This park is under the B.C. Hydro right of way and does provide a wonderful view of Colony Farm. We have had several complaints, from residents, that there are not enough trees and there is no area to sit. The Parks and Recreation Committee had indicated to one resident that monies would be put in the 1994 budget to accommodate some upgrading. With the upgrade it is intended to plant some native trees, provide some benches and alse continue the pathway to the west side of the park. By continuing the pathway to the west this will be a continuation of the linear trail system under the power lines. } WE Haney te Reed ote 3 Mao
