Jan 17/93 Application published in The Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Pers
Moody Now.

The permit was also posted at the front gate of the Port Coquitlam
plant. Tha Environmental Monitoring Section and the Simon Fraser
Health Unit had no comments. Environment Canada nad no concerns
provided the storage meets the requirements of the Special Waste
Ragulations and the C£ZPA PC3 Release Regulation. Jhere ware no
responses from the others contacted nor any responses from the
public.

Feb 16/93 Parmit inspection of presant storage. Site investigation of
future storage by BCE. Plans and specification of future site
received.

March 1/93 At BCE’s request, Kennametal submits their internal inspection
zeports for their Ontario site.

March 31/93 Permit amendment issued.

April /93 Kennametal cequests letter a letter from BCE approving che
transport of the materials. BCE contacts Mike Davies of che
City to see if Kennametal has creceived approval from the City.
The City of Port Coquitlam had not been contacted Gut states
that their are no bylaws affecting storage/transport and would
not have any problems with ic.
