January 8, 1990/003 A letter and presentation were submitted by Elma Stewart, #7, 3410 Coast Meridian Road, objecting to the proposed rezoning from residential to commercial and noted that the rezoning sign has not been put up on the property. Concern was also expressed for traffic patterns in the area and parking congestion. Ms. Stewart questioned the need for more retail or office Space when there are existing vacancies in the area. Ms. Stewart felt that either townhouses or low-rise apartments would be better suited for the area. The following people spoke regarding the proposed rezoning: Ms. J. Moffat, #8-3310 Coast Meridian Road, referred to traffic problems in the an area heavily populated with young children. Ms. D. Boivin, #10-3410 Coast Meridian Road, would like to go on record as being in agreement with the previous speaker. His Worship Mayor L.M.
