Voluntary Development Variance Permit No. 28/89 for 2748 Lougheed Highway

THAT City Council direct the Clerk's Office to inform surrounding property
owners of this application and to place the following resolution on a
subsequent agenda of City Council.

THAT City Council adopt a resolution issuing a development variance permit
to Pel 2, D.L. 380, NWLD Plan 76533 relaxing the requirements of the Sign
Bylaw No. 2095 to permit sign area to be calculated as the area containing

text.

Mandatory Development fermit No. 27/89 for 1831 Coast Meridian Road.

THAT City Council adopt a resolution issuing a development permit to Block
&, D.L.288, Group 1, NWLD Plan 4667

AND THAT exevption from Bylaw 2242 Section 13(b) be granted

From the Parks and Recreation Director, May 17th, 1989 regarding National
Access Awareness Week - June 4-10, 1989

That the following recommendations as discussed in the attached report be
approved.

1) The Mayor proclaim June 4~10, 1989 National Access Awareness Week in
Port Coquitlam.

2) A newspaper article be prepared discussing National Access Awareness
Week and our Leisure Buddy program.

3) The Mayor tour City Hall, with the media, to demonstrate the present
accessibility features.

4) A display be prepared by PoCo Parks and Recreation to be located at
Hyde Creek outlining the resources available to those with
disabilities, in the area of recreation.

5) A banner announcing the week be prepared for the underpass.
