RECOMMENDATION: That the Clerk's Office be directed to
prepare a bylaw amending the Official Lo i
Community Plan Bylaw, Schedule A Section : |

- 4.4.2, Subsection (1), Clause (d) by adding
the following wording,

"Rezoning of lots to an RS-1A designation
Is permitted to facilitate their i
resubdiviston [nto a more efficient shape, i
provided no additional residential lots are ue i
created." |

COMMENTS: :

This amendment to the text of the offictal Community Plan fs

being proposed in response to an arplication to resubdivide
three lots Into a more efficient shape. That application is
supported, because it would be ineauitable to refuse the owner
permisslon to Improve their use for residential lots and to
also refuse to permit their betng used for an apartment —
development for a number of years. ,

Based on the above rationale thse proposed amendment to the i
Official Community Plan has been prepared. Context of the
section beflng amended Is regulations for Stage Two and the i
process for making changes to apartment areas. The amended |
section would read:

Changes to permit development in Stage Two areas or changes to
‘the density permitted by the Multiple iramily Houstng policies,
are to be made on the basis of an entire neighbourhood not on
