(see attached map) TAX*SHARING OF IMPERIAL OIL A formula for sharing the tax-base of the loco Refinery should be established by the Provincial Government, under which :~ @ The new municipality would initially receive Sufficient revenue to finance the present level Of sarvices available within the Anmore/Ioco area; with this revenue Increasing in the future to accommodate the naw municipality's growth in Population and reavenue-~ requirements, Surplus tax-revenue from the refinery would be available for distribution among Provincial genera] revenues, adjacent. municipalities and the remainder Of Electoral Area 6, FIRE AND POLICE SERVICES The existing services and facilities provided by the Sasamat Volunteer Fire Oepartmant should remain in place to accommodate the needs of both the Village of Balcarra and the new municipality, and the present cost sharing formula should be retained, Mutual aid agreements could be negotiated with Port Moody that would able the twa fira-departments to come to each other's assistance, Police service to the new municipality would continue to be provided by the R.C.M.P. The Pravince has advised that until the population af the néw municipality reaches 5000, the Provincial Government would pay 100% of this cost.
