SUBJECT: Aerial Spraying of Blueberry Crops

Recommendation:

That’ Council give consideration of the following resolution:

"That approval be hereby given to Crop Care Aviation Limited to operate aircraft
below elevated regulations in the City of Port Coquitlam during the three calendar
months of March, April, May, 1982 for the purpose of applying Triphorene (Funginex)
to blueberry crops for the control of mummy berry", :

Background and Comments:

Attached is a copy of a letter received from Crop Care Aviation Limited dated
October 14th, 1981 and our reply of October 26th, 1981.

In a telephone conversation with Mr. Bailey on Monday November 9th, 1981 we are
able to ascertain that the above noted approval would, if given, be satisfactory
for their purposes and the blanket approval request would, in fact, not be required.
