ITEM NO. P.C.A.A.A. Annual Grant

~ Please see attached memorandum and letter

During budget deliberations earlier this year
it was informally agreed to that the P.C.A.A.A,
Annual Grant would be increased by $1.00 to
$6.00 per athlete. The money Presently in the
budget would cover a $6.00 per athlete cost.

Reconmendation:

That the annual P.C.A.A.A grant be increased

by one dollar ($1.00) to six dollars ($6.00)
per athlete: and that this come into effect for
the year 198].

We have received information on a conference

to be held in Kamploops in October concerning

the "Arts". Both the School District and Port
Moody will be sending representatives, The Parks
& Recreation Committee feel that this is one

area where we do lack in programming and that

it would be important to send a representative
from the committee to this conference.

Recommendation:

That one representative From the Parks & Recreation
Coumittee attend the “Arts in the Community"
conference to be held: in Kamploops, B.C. October
Ist, 2nd, and 3rd, 1981.
