August 28th, 1978. The City Clerk advised that Mr. B.J. Promislow, representing Mr. V.J. Bays, was in attendance to address the Council with respect to the house located Mr. B.J at 1939 Coquitlam Avenue and the proposed demolition thereof. Mr. Promislow maerere advised the Council the owner of the property, Mr. Victor J. Bay, has qoauitian been out of the Province and was unable to properly carry out the clean- of bide up of the property, and that he was in town now and would be securing the dwelling in preparation to repairing it for occupancy. Mr. Promislow asked that the matter of demolishing the premises be tabled for two weeks. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the matter of ordering:the demolition of the house at 1939 Coquitiam Avenue be tabled for a period of two weeks. Aldermen Keryluk. and Mabbett voted against the resolution. Prior. to passage of ‘the foregoing resolution Alderman Laking asked that the By-law requirements respecting the house be investigated.
