Mayor & Council June 12th, 1975 Alderman E.W. Mabbett I attended the official opening of the new Co-op Mobile Home Park \, in Pitt Meadows on June lith. This park is a credit to the community of Pitt “Meadows, as it is very well planned and laid out. In talking to the Municipal "Engineer, I find it started under a Land Use Contract and by this they created a very ideal park. They told the developer in the beginning that it would have “to equal or be better than the one we all know quite well, Winasor Glen. '- As the Council has agreed that we should be planning development of a “Mobile Home Park, I would recommend that the City Administration proceed -Ammediately to. get all the data from Fitt Meadows and also from the Minister of - Housing. — | | » An example of what the cost to a young couple who I personally know would be to get into this park, the Co-op has a $500.00 charge which they say - is returnable upon leaving. Their trailer is costing approximately $16,000.00, - the monthly rental for pad and use of pool and community centre is about $120.00 per month, including water, T.V. cable, and sewer. Respectfully submitted, Alderman E.W. Mabbett.
