In the coming season, cadets will also have the opportunity to obtain training in first aid, search and rescue techniques, and photography. The fundamental aim of the Air Cadet movement is to develop in youth good citizenship, leadership and physical fitness. With this in mind, the cadets participate in several sports weekends and intercorp weekends, In October, the cadets are learning camping and survival techniques with a camp out at Woadcock airstrip. In November, cadets from Prince Rupert, Smithers, and Kitimat have been invited for a sports weekend.
