French, A.L.C:M., is sharing the commendations being ex.ended to her pupil, Miss Janet Young, who, with 92 per cent., secured first-class honors in ele- mentary theory in the recent local examinations conducted by the Toronto Conservatory of Musie in Prince Rupert. Mrs. R. deKergommeaux has returned to her home in Prince Rupert after spending a month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H, Hailiwell Rev. T. J. Marsh, accompanied by Rev, W. Barfoot and Rev, W. S. The Terrace Odd Fellows and Rebekahs met at the lodge rooms on Sunday afternoon and pro- ceeded to Kitsumgallum Ceme- tery, where they decorated the graves of departed brethren, ‘The’ staff of Kitsumgallum School is to be congratulated on the completion of a most success- ‘| ful year’s work, Lawrence Greig and Marguerite Martin, the only pupils in Grade 11, both matri- culated. Allan, Mrs. R. Haney, Miss Etan- da Marsh and Rev. W. Allan, anda duet by Mona Greig and Kathleen Burnett, Mrs. At- wood’s orchestra also pave sever- al selections. The evening was completed by the serving of a substantial and :ppetizing lunch. The receipts were $52. Young People to Camp A good deal of interest is being taken in the forthcoming camp at Lakelse Lake under the aus- pices of Young People’s Work of St. Matthew’s Anglican and Knox United Church, Terrace. The boys are ta go out on August 9, returning on the 14th, and the girls will camp from the 16th to the 2lst. The effort is being fostered by Rev. W. Allan, Rev. W. F.. Barfoot, A. C. Fowler, leader of the Trail Rangers, and Miss C. Toombs, leader of the C.G.1.T. work.
