SUBJECT: Release of Right-of-Way - Public Works Committee -
August 19, 1986

Recommendation:

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the release
of Right-of-Way for Parcel B, Explanatory Plan 69614 which its property
Owned by Canfor. ;

Background and Comments:

One of the Rights-of-Way held by the City for sanitary sewer
covered an entire parcel rather than just the location of the sanitary
sewer. This parce! was involved in the three-way. property exchange
between ourselves, Department of Highways, and Canfor. The portion
“outlined on the attached sketch was turned over to Canfor complete
with the City's .statutory Right-of-Way.

We have absolutely no requirement for the Right-of-Way as the
sewer does not even cross this parcel. it would therefore be in order
for Council to authorize the ralease of the Right-of-Way.
