hi A b THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT CQ BYLAW NO. 2238 A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2469 in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District in exchange for a portion of Lot 348 in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District, Pian 30872, to be estabiisnhed as Road. WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2469 jin District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed to convey the said land to the City so that it may be established as an addition to the Roads in District Lot 232, Group 1, New Westminster District; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes. of British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section hereof ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as fol lows: All that portion of road dedicated on Plan 2469 in District Lot 232, Group 1,New Westminster District included within the heavy outline on an explanatory plan certified by Martin Schulze, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 23rd day of January 1987, a copy of which is attach hereto; at or for the price or sum of $12,105.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to purchase of and from the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Lot 348 of District Lot 232, Group |, Plan 30872, New Westminster District, as shown hatched on an explanatory plan certified by Martin Schulze, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 23rd day of January 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto; at or for the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
