Discussion of the report continued, and the. Fire. Chief ‘stated - did not totally agree with the conclusions reached by the Committee, and to the query posed by Alderman Traboulay "then you are not altogether in n sympathy with consolidation?’ he replied "that is correct". . Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Administration seek out a consultant to do an in-depth study of the needs for an additional Fire Hall for this City, and as an addendum to report to study as well possible consolidation of services with surrounding Withdrawn. Prior to consideration of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Laking, Suggested that all the words after "City" be deleted therefrom, and to this Alderman Traboulay agreed. Alderman ‘Traboulay stated he felt the Fire Chief would know exactly where a Fire Hall should -be located on the North side of. the City, and the above-stated resolution was then withdrawn.
