Letter from Cliff Ramsay, Project Manager, Ministry of Transportation of Highways, dated | May 13, 1991. _ On January 14, 1991, the Council adopted a resolution opposing the creation of a cul-de-sac on Coast Meridian Road just north of the Mary Hill Bypass; this resolution was forwarded to the — Ministry of Transportation & Highways. : | oe Since that time, there has been discussion between the Port Coquitlam Engineering Department and the Ministry of Transportation & Highways and there has been strong oppostion to the _ “proposed cul-de-sac from businesses in the area. | | SO The Ministry of Transpurtation & Highways have reconsidered their position and have decided to keep the itersection of Coast Meridian Road and Mary Hill Bypass as it is right now; inthe =~ future, if traffic safety warrants changes, a removable barrier can be placed along the Mary.
