The Honorable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Offidal Languages | A Message f Pont The ‘Mayor On behalf of Vancouver City Council, we would like to congratulate Le Centre Culturel Francophone de Vancouver on your 24" Festival d’été Francophone. Festival d’été has become a popular cultural event for our City. Throughout the year there are many cultural celebrations in the City of Vancouver but few match the acclaim of the Festival d'été and helps us do it in both of Canada’s official languages. We are honoured to be welcoming first class performers including Kevin Parent and Zachary Richard to our City. Festival d’été is a rich Francophone experience and has become a favourite event not only for our Francophone citizens but visitors and Vancouverites in general. Le Centre has established itself as the cornerstone of artistic, community and educational programming for our Francophone and Francophile citizens. This is an ultimate celebration of French Heritage and allows us to get in touch with our bilingual roots. Congratulations to Le Centre Culturel Francophone de Vancouver for creating such a successful and enjoyable event and I hope everyone has a chance to experience the celebration. Yours truly, Cry Peet Gregor Robertson MAYOR
