R“QUEST TO REMOVE PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN FRONT OF THE
LEGION FROM EXISTING BYLAW NO. 1117 Section 10 (c).

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Public Works Committee update the Traffic Regulation Bylaw by deleting the existing
parking restrictions on the narrow road on the west side of Shaughnessy St. (Traffic Regulation
Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117, Schedule A, Section 10.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: °

Attached is a copy of a portion of Bylaw No. 1117 with a short note Stating that this bylaw is
obsolete. This area is now a walkway and does not accommodate vehicular traffic.

Couid you please deiete this restriction from the existing Bylaw. There is no need for physical
changes to be made in this area.
