A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, April 8th, 1991, at
7330 pom.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon,
J.J. Keryluk, RH. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were the City. Administrator BR. Kirk, ‘City

Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Treasurer J.G. Maitland, City
Engineer I.R. Zahynacz, and Director of Planning C.R. Felip.

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES:

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and regular Council meeting held on
March 25th, 1991, be taken as read and adopted.

1990 begins the United Nations International Decade of Natural

The Government of British Columbia recognizes the public benefit

volunteers, industry and local government throughout | the

: WHEREAS: - The Government of. British Columbia, upon behalf of all citizeus,—
ee deems it appropriate to recognize. the public safety benefits
provided by ali emergency planners and response agencies;

WHEREAS: It is considered prudent to further encourage and. promote. —

a AND WHEREAS: Our Lieutenant~Governor, by and with the advice and consent of
ee the Executive Council, has been pleased to direct by Order in
Council in that behalf that a Proclamation be issued designating |

‘April, 22 to 27, 1991, inclusive, as “Emergency Preparedness
