Re: Public Information Meeting - R#20/76

A Public Information Meeting was held on August 18th, 1976 at 7:30 pm. to
outline the proposed 8 unit condominium apartment development on Gordon Avenue.
Present at the meeting were Alderman G.R. Laking, Planning Technician Reg Zotzman,
City Administrator L.D. Pollock, Mr. and Mrz, F. Stevens, the owners of the site,
Mr. Keith White. Designer of the project, and about 16 residents.

Zotzman outlined the present Zoning in the area and Mr. White outlined the
design of the project which would be 6 units in a two-story section plus two
one~story suites with parking for 14 cars.

Another resident complained about the traffic on the lane east of Jervis Street
that runs south from Gordon down to Davies. He commented that this was a speed-~
way and this would be- aggravated by more building in the area,

A resident asked «bout fencing of the site as the present Senior Citizen's
complex is protected and marked No Trespassing. The Developer acknowledged
that there would be a solid fence at the back of the site.
