GENERAL REGULATIONS No person shall plant or allow to grow any trees, shrubs, bushes or hedges taller than 1.0 meter when fully mature adjacent to any highway which wilt obstruct visibility within a triangle measured along the property lines for a distance of 5 meters in each direction from the intersection of every highway. No person shal! construct or maintain any closed or solid fence, wall or hedge talier than 1.0 meter adjacent to any highway which obstructs visibility within a ftriangie measured along the property lines for a distance of 5 meters in each direction from the intersection of every highway. The means of access to and from every highway for every parcel of tand abutting thereon, shall be provided by means of a standard boulevard crossing constructed in accordance with the specifications contained in the City of Port Coquitlam Subdivision By-law and ltocated in accordance with the regulations set out in Schedule "B" attached hereto. Every owner or occupier of real property shal! remove snow, ice or rubbish from the roof or other part of any structure thereon adjacent to or abutting on any portion of any highway. Every owner of a private highway shall maintain the same in a clean, fit and safe state and shall affix suitable signs thereon indicating that such highway is a private thoroughfare. Every owner or occupier of real property shalt! prominently display in such @ manner so as to be visible from the street and in figures not fess than 10 centimeters in height the street number assigned to such building or structures under the City's street numbering system. PENALTY FOR _ INFRACTIONS Every person who violates any of the provisions of this Bylaw or who permits any act or thing to be done in contravention or in violation of any of the provisions of this Bylaw, or who neglects to do or refrains from doing anything required to be done by any of the provisions of this Bylaw shall be’ guilty of an offenc” punishable on summary conviction and shail be liable to a fine of not more than $2,000.00 or to imprisonment for not more than six months, or to both, the penaities being enforced and the fines and costs being recoverable upon summary conviction in the manner provided by the Offenct® Act R.S.B8.C. 1979, c, 305 as amended. 2011 7 ‘OY
