Over the past several years either one or two accidents per year mostly injuries. This is quite normal for an uncontrolled on residential streets, From past experience, when the accident rate is this low, the installation of STOP signs usually does not make much difference to the accident rate. The Committee recommends that we maintain our policy of not using STOp Signs at local Street intersections unless there is a ic problem that can be solved by STOP signs. .
