Therefore, the GVRD is planning a series of seminars and accompanying tours to acquaint member municipal councils and select members of their staff with the services of the Greater Vancouver Water and Sewerage and Drainage Districts. The objectives of the seminar-tours would be to: Provide you with background information on the Corporations' history, powers and methods of financing. Familiarize you with GVRD operating services, including water supply and distribution, sewage disposal, solid waste disposal and air pollution centrel. Provide an opportunity for your municipal council and staff to visit facilities in your area. Provide an opportunity for you to ask questions and discuss the services provided.
