_ Local teacher put on UNBC senate A TERRACE teacher has been appointed to the senate of the University of Northern B.C. Dr Ed Harrison, from Caledonia Sr. Secondary school, is one of four people appointed to the university’s senate Friday by advanced education minister Dan Miller, Harrison said he wants to see a better working arrangment be- tween the college and the univer- sity ao that neither side feels threatened by the other. Also named are Jim Angus, ad- ministrator - of Kispiox Elementary School. in Hazelton, Dawson Creek doctor Kelly Bamard, and Ann McQuaid, an adult basic education instructor at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George.
