Works of art entered in the Northwest Regional Art Show rang- ed from - painting, photography to sculp- ture. Beside each piece in the exhibit is a written critic by Johnson and Carr. : Edna Cooper, presi- dent of the Terrace art association, said that the show this year was very successful. The North- west Regional Art Show is done every year, and selected works from the event will go to the Pro- vincial Festival of the Arts in Prince George. From there art work will ‘be chosen to be shown during Expo in Van- couver, said Cooper. Johnson and Carr chose 12 works from the Terrace show to go to the Festival of the Arts. All of the art work in the ex- hibit will stay in the Ter- race Art Gallery for the month of March. Police report On Friday, March 14 Terrace police report that a single motor vehi- cle accident occurred on Eby Street. A Terrace man was charged with being impaired when the car he was driving ran in- to a_ telephone pole. Damages were estimated at $2,500. He is to ap- pear in court at a later date.
