Stamp Corner The most celebrated U.S. rarity, the 1918 inverted airmail, one of the rarest U.S. plate blocks and a unique 1870 vertical pair will highlight an avction of rare U.S., Canadian Confederate States | stamps by Paramount — Philatelics, April 8 at the Park Sheraton Hotel, New York City. Stanley Morycz, president of the Englewood, Ohio, firm, sald the spring auction would include some 300 lots of rare 19th and 20th century U.S., Canadian and Confederate stamps, covers, essays and errors, as well as rare U.S. currency, errors and counterieits and Japanese occupation specimen notes. Moryez said both public and mail bids will be ac- cepted and lots may be inspected April 7 to 8 from 1 am. to 5 pc. at the Park Sheraton.
