Liberal Senator Ray Perrault will visit Terrace
Friday to speak on behalf of the department of in-
dustry; trade and commerce at a no-host reception
and dinner at the Terrace Hotel. .

Tickets will be available at the door for the dinner,
sponsored by, the Terrace and district Chamber of

mmerce, People wishing to speak with represen-
tatives of the department can contact Rick Wilmot at
§-7231 or Al Romanow at 52261. Councillors from the
B.C. ministry of economic development will also be
there to discuss everything from business promotion -
to small business taxation, loans and advertising.

Perrault, born in Vancouver, served as a liberal in
three provincial parliaments before resigning his seat
in 1968 to run as a federal candidate.

He served in 1969 as one of Canada’s delegates to the
United Nations special | political committee and was
later appointed as jamentary secretary to the
minister of labor. 1971, he was a member of
Canada’s first delegation to the People’s Republic of
China and in 1972 one of Canada’s representatives at
the International Labor Organization meeting in
