Lee, City Planner Re: R#4-79 ~ 2860/2880 Oxford Street R#5-79 - 2275 Atkins Council will recall that three readings have been given to land use contracts for 2860/2880 Oxford Street and 2275 Atkins Avenue for a 12-unit and a 24-unit apartment project respectively. Both developers, unfortunately, failed to arrange financing successfully in time for final reading in order to complete the land use contract registration by January 16th, 1979 which was the deadline for registration of land use con- tracts in the Land Registry Office as set out in the Municipal Act. As a result, if these two projects are to proceed as planned, they will have to go through the normal rezoning process and the required zoning for both projects is RM-4. The Planning Department has recently been approached for rezoning consideration by the developers and has been advised of adequate financing for both projects. In view of the fact that the two projects will remain fundamentally un- changed, I recommend that approval be considered for rezoning the subject properties to RM-4, A L. “Lee, City Planner.
