' Port Coquitlam, B.C. : V3C 2A8 Dear Sir It has been brought to my attention that in conversation with one of our employees, you suggested we could have changes made to the parking on Kingsway Avenue in front of our business. In 1985 we formally requested that parking be eliminated between the driveways of 1820 and 1830 Kingsway. Although our request was denied, the City did see tit to reduce the speed limit in the area to 50 KPH. In light of two recent accidents and considering the many accidents that have occurred since our last request, we again wish to have you reconsider our request to eliminate all parking in front of our business. We feel this would require posting a sign and the painting of the curb. | am sure you could confirm doth the number and cost of the claims for the numerous accidents that occur, in order to convince yourselves that reducing the speed was not the total answer and in fact increasing the visibility is a must. | have enclosed the previous correspondence for your confirmation. Thank you in advance for your anticipated, expeditious co-operation. Yours frdly Robert C. cLesli Division Manager /cg Encl.
