A By-law to amend the “Discotheque Regulation By-law,
1978, No. 1626".
The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. Section 4 of the "Discotheque Regulation By-law, 1978, No. 1626"
is amended by adding the following thereto as Section (d):

"(d) The provisions of this section shall not apply to any
dance. session or programme organized and sponsored by
an elementary school or a junior or senior secondary
school provided:

i. the supervision required pursuant to the provisions
of subsection (a) of Section 5 of this By-law is
augmented by supervision provided by the teachers
at such school, and
the dance session or programme is a part of the
school's activities, either curricular or extra~
curricular, and
those attending the dance session or programme are
subject to normal school discipline."

2. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Discotheque

Regulation By~law, 1978, No. 1626, Amendment By-law, 1979, No. 1653".
