“Further to our ‘submission in support of By-law No. 1215 I understand that
Ma. question has been raised with regard.to the allowance in-the By-law for
escalating costs over the five year period. This will confirm that the

Council is aware of your concern in this regard.

“The Council is not prepared to seek authority for anything in excess of

$1.3 million at this time. If it should happen that escalating costs cause

a: shortage of funds for any of the particular projects’ in future years the
Council intend to tailor the project to suit the funds available or alternatively

they will seek further approval from the ratepayers at vhat time if further funds

should be required.
